Warranty and refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at sean@orbitalsb.com. Please note that a 20% restocking fee will apply. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. If the instructions are not carefully followed, any import, clearance, or duty fees or damages received because of shipping will be charged to the purchaser and deducted from the refund amount, or else the return will not be accepted altogether. 
Please note that packages must be shipped back within 5 business days of the return being accepted. In addition, any missing items from the returned package will also be deducted from the refunded amount using the retail cost online.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned and are considered final sale upon initial or full payment, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) and made to order stock. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Warranty, damages, and issues 
Orbital Sandblasting offers a 90-day limited warranty to the buyer who purchases the equipment directly from Orbital Sandblasting or its authorized distributors. Direct purchasers may contact us at sean@orbitalsb.com. If you purchased through an authorized distributor, please initiate your claim through your distributor, who will coordinate with Orbital Sandblasting on your behalf.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Orbital Sandblasting will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace the defective device for all non-physical technology defects related to: wireless communication, batteries, charging, relay controls, and all surface mount PCB components. The limited warranty does NOT cover damage or failures that result from the following causes: normal wear and tear (such as physical damage from field work and battery capacity reduction over time); damage caused by impacts, drops, physical trauma, blast media, improper use, negligence, incorrect installation, unseated charge barrel covers; modifications to hardware or firmware, or devices repaired by anyone other than Orbital Sandblasting; exposure to chemicals, water, moisture or liquids; use of nonapproved replacement parts, batteries, or chargers; environmental contamination, dust ingress beyond the design specifications of the devices.
Additionally, the warranty does not cover any hazard or failure of equipment upstream or downstream from the Wireless Deadman System. For example, if the blast pot solenoid fails, if the blast hose ruptures, if the blast pot fails, or if any other component of the blasting system fails, these are not covered by this warranty. These failures are the responsibility of the manufacturers of those components.
To claim warranty service, you can contact us at sean@orbitalsb.com with proof of purchase, and a detailed description of the defect, including when you first noticed the problem, what symptoms the product is displaying, and what you were doing when the problem occurred. Claims must be made in writing within the warranty period no later than 30 days of the noticed failure. If your claim is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on where to send your package. Shipments must be prepaid freight. The obligation under this warranty is strictly limited to the replacement or repair of our products and does not include the cost of transportation, loss of operating time, or normal maintenance services, and these charges, if received, will be forwarded to the purchaser or else the delivery will not be accepted altogether.
If the defect is covered, Orbital Sandblasting will either repair the device or replace it with a new device at their discretion. Repair and replacement will be completed within 14 business days of receipt of the device. Once repair or replacement is complete, Orbital Sandblasting will ship the device back to you using a courier that provides tracking information. You will be notified by email when the device has been shipped and will be provided with a tracking number so that you can monitor the status of the shipment.
If the defect is not covered under warranty, Orbital Sandblasting will notify the Buyer in writing. If Buyer does not authorize return shipment and provide prepaid shipping within 14 days of notification, Buyer will be deemed to have abandoned the device and Orbital Sandblasting may dispose of it at its discretion without further liability.
For products purchased for resale, the warranty period is limited to one (1) year from the original date of purchase by the reseller, or ninety (90) days from the date of purchase by the end-user, whichever occurs first.
THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY ORBITAL SANDBLASTING. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, DURABILITY, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
